Privacy Policy

AY-LYN app — last updated: 2 November 2026

In short: AY-LYN never sells your data, shows no ads, and you can erase everything. Your messages, your voice and your questions are sent to our server only so that AY-LYN can answer you.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is NAAS Mohamed Wael, Tunis, Tunisia. Contact for any question or request: contact@ay-lyn.com.

2. What data we use, and why

Your first name and language: to talk to you personally.
How you want to be addressed (as a woman, as a man, or nothing; optional): only so that AY-LYN uses the right grammar.
Your email address (optional): to tell you about an important change to your account (it is not used to sign in or to recover your account) and, only if you tick the box for it, to receive news from AY-LYN. It is stored encrypted, never sold, and you can unsubscribe or have it deleted at any time.
Your birth date: to check that you are 18 or older and to know your sign. Your birth time and city (optional) refine your chart. These details are used for your birth chart, numerology, Chinese horoscope and readings.
Your messages and questions (conversation, tarot, yes or no, I Ching, dreams, compatibility): to write the answer. Past readings are kept so that the same question gets a consistent answer.
Your voice (if you use the microphone): the recording is turned into text and is not kept by us. When you listen to AY-LYN, the text of her answer is turned into a synthetic voice.
The memories AY-LYN keeps from your conversations (for example a name or an important event) and her journal (one page a day she writes about your relationship): so that she remembers you. You can view and erase them in Settings → “What AY-LYN knows about you”.
Information about another person that you enter for compatibility: only for that reading. Only enter it with that person’s agreement.
A technical account identifier (Firebase) and your phone’s time zone: to recognise you securely and know your local date and time.
Usage counters (messages, readings, voice minutes) and, if you buy, the status of your subscription or top-ups: to apply the free offer and the paid plans.

You do not have to share sensitive information (health, religion, opinions…). If you mention it yourself to AY-LYN, it is processed only to answer you, and you can erase it at any time.

Legal basis: performance of the service you request (contract) and your consent for optional data (birth details, memories, voice, initiative messages). You can withdraw your consent at any time.

3. What stays on your phone

Your dream journal, compatibility details, your relationship level with AY-LYN and your settings are stored on your phone. The “My data” page of the app shows what is kept and lets you erase everything in one tap. Your account is tied to this phone: there is no username or password, and your email cannot be used to recover it. If you reinstall the app or change phones, your subscription comes back with “Restore my purchases”, but your conversations and memories stay on the old account, which is erased automatically after 24 months of inactivity.

4. Who this data is shared with

OpenAI (artificial intelligence): receives the text needed to write each answer, turns your voice into text and reads AY-LYN’s answers aloud with her voice. When a subscriber asks for news, AY-LYN may search the internet through it. We ask that exchanges are not used to train its models.
Google Firebase: secure identification of your account.
Google Play: payments (subscription and 24-hour Pass). We never see your banking details.
Our hosting provider (Google Cloud, Google LLC, servers in the United States): hosts the AY-LYN server.

These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, with the safeguards required by law (standard contractual clauses). We never sell or rent your data, and we show no advertising.

5. How long

Your data is kept while you use AY-LYN. If your account stays inactive for 24 months, or if you ask for deletion, we erase your data from the server within 30 days. Data on your phone is erased when you use “My data” or uninstall the app.

6. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or port your data, or object to processing, by writing to contact@ay-lyn.com. You can also complain to the data protection authority of your country.

7. Minimum age

AY-LYN is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Security

Exchanges between the app and our server are encrypted (HTTPS). Access to the server is protected and limited. No system is perfect: if an incident affects your data, we will inform you as the law requires.

9. Artificial intelligence

AY-LYN is an artificial intelligence, not a person, and her voice is synthetic. Her answers are generated automatically and may contain mistakes. Astrology, the Chinese horoscope, the I Ching, tarot, numerology and dream interpretation are offered as symbolic readings, for entertainment and personal reflection, and never replace the advice of a doctor, psychologist, lawyer or financial adviser.

10. Changes

If this policy changes significantly, we will let you know in the app before the change applies.
